Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan

Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan is a large park consisting of 1334 sq km jungle. This park is situated in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. This park is well connected with the Sawai Madhopur town. Tourist can reach Sawai Madhopur and then reach the park. It is also near to Kota Railway station. Tourist coming from trains can either deboard the train at Sawai Madhopur or Kota and reach the park easily. Sunderbans National Park, West Bengal

This park has mangrove forests. This park is home to royal Bengal tigers, salt-water crocodile, Leopard Cat and Macaques. There are a large number of reptiles in the park. These reptiles include python, king cobra, rattlesnake and many others. This UNESCO heritage site is the world’s biggest mangrove sanctuary. Best time to visit Sundarban National Park is from September to March.

Bandipur National Park, Karnataka

Bandipur National Park was declared as a national park in 1974. This park covers an area of 880 sq km. It is home to elephants, leopards, chital or spotted deer and langurs. The best time to visit the park is from March to June. This park is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Bandipur is located in Chamarajanagar district. Tourists can visit this park and see Indian elephants, tigers and Indian rock pythons. The best time to visit this national park is from October – March.
