Basil better known as Tulsi in India is a herb which is considered to be a holy plant in India, and has many medicinal benefits. Basil is very common in an Indian household, people grow basil and worship it as well. It is popularly known as the queen of herb in India. The herb is very easy to grow. Basil sourced from polluted areas can be toxic and do more harm than providing benefits.
